The Florida Emergency Preparedness Conference (FEPC) 2027 will be held January 25–29, 2027, at the Bradenton Area Convention Center and Palmetto Marriott Resort in Palmetto, Florida.

FEPC brings together emergency management professionals, nonprofit organizations, health care leaders, private sector partners, public safety officials, government agencies, and first responders from across Florida and beyond to share ideas, strengthen partnerships, and advance preparedness initiatives.

Are you leading innovative programs, developing effective strategies, or implementing lessons learned that could benefit others in the emergency preparedness community?

We invite you to submit a presentation proposal and share your expertise with professionals dedicated to building more resilient communities.

FEPA is currently accepting presentation proposals for the 2027 Florida Emergency Management Conference

If you have experience, research, case studies, innovative programs, or best practices that would benefit the emergency preparedness community, we encourage you to submit a proposal. Submission Deadline is July 31, 2026.

What We Are Looking For?

FEPC seeks engaging, informative, and practical presentations that provide attendees with actionable knowledge, emerging trends, and real-world solutions in emergency preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Emergency management best practices and lessons learned;
  • Disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation strategies;
  • Public health and health care preparedness initiatives;
  • Cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection;
  • Crisis communications and public information strategies;
  • Community resilience and whole community engagement;
  • Training, exercises, and innovative technologies;
  • Hurricane preparedness and severe weather response;
  • Continuity of operations and business continuity planning;
  • Volunteer and nonprofit coordination during disasters;
  • Mental health, responder wellness, and resilience initiatives;
  • Case studies highlighting successful programs, partnerships, or after-action improvements.

Presentations that include practical takeaways, scalable solutions, and innovative approaches are especially encouraged.

2027 FEPC Training Survey

FEPA is also soliciting ideas for training subjects for the 2027 Florida Emergency Preparedness Conference. We aim to put on training that benefits our members and is something they want to attend.

To help us accomplish this, please provide your training ideas and suggestions here by July 31. Once complete, the submissions will be reviewed by the FEPA Training and Professional Development Committee, which will select the courses that will be offered..
